Double Bass Replacing my Dyn-B?

Hi.
I am going to replace my Schertler Dyn-B. It has started to make a boomy noice at sertain frequenzes (100 hz). I have been pretty happy with it, except for that famous midrangy sound...Is it possible to fix?

Anyway, need suggestions for a new mic or pick-up!
Have heard some good things about the ehrlund and atm 350...

Best regards/
Daniel

The Ehrlund pickup was certainly the right match for my Double Bass. Very simple to mount, and with a little trial and error moving it around it sounds very close to the instrument acoustically.
