So I have this Squier P-Bass that I've neglected for the past 6 years and now I've recently got an interest in restoring it being that it's in bad shape. Back when I first got (12 years old) it I tampered with its setup. I moved the saddles, I turned (and stripped) the truss rod but from using the wrong Allen key. So basically it's a hot mess. I would like to restore it back to proper specs, hopefully with the right approach this time lol I just bought the gripper tool from Stew Mac to extract the old nut. My question is how do I "undo" the hack job I did when I was a kid? Don't tell me "bring it to a luthier" it's not worth the money for the kind of bass. I'm doing it for memory's sake. How would i go about re-adjusting the saddle height and intonation?
