Resolving Amp limit light issue by adding another cabinet?

I bought a used Ampeg B2RE head that runs at 450 watts at 4 ohms and 250 watts at 8 ohms. Currently, I'm running it through an 700 watt at 8 ohm Eden cabinet with 4x10s. Playing the system for the first time with my band, I noticed the limit light on the amp was lighting up frequently. Is this a bad thing? Master was a little more than half way up and gain was 3/4 all the way for suitable volume. Here's my question: If I add another 8 ohm cabinet to run at full 450 watts and 4 ohms (which I plan to do for playing larger gigs), will this resolve the limiting problem because, I think, I'll have more power and won't be cranking the amp as much through an underpowered speaker? In other words, will two cabinets resolve the limiting problem I'm facing with one cabinet?
