Responsive expression pedal?

Greetings TB'ers.
I've recently redesigned my pedal board (still work in progress) and I have a need to add a new expression pedal. I currently am using 2 moog expression pedals and they do the job just fine. I need one more.

What's a good, cheap, sturdy, responsive pedal to look into? I'll either be using this with a moogerfooger mf-102 or with a modded pigtronix ep-1. any and all suggestions/recommendations are appreciated.

You could look into getting a normal volume pedal and using a one stereo-to-two mono jacks. The two mono jacks would go into the in and out of the volume pedal and the stereo plug would go into the expression jack. Check the Moog manual, but there is a ohm value that they suggest for the pot.

interesting, so you are saying use a volume pedal for an expression pedal? i do have a volume pedal that fits the bill to do this, but it is an $80 pedal that i use for volume...i'd ideally like to spend $20-$40 on an expression pedal only. i'm not trying to use one pedal to control 2 values...separate pedals for each value.

I did some researching recently and it seemed like the Yamaha FC7 had the most positive comments from Moogerfooger users. I just bought one used off Ebay, but it arrived trashed so I don't actually know how good it is. It looks sturdy enough for normal use- I think whatever happened to this one must have been fairly extreme (and yes, the seller refunded my money). I'll probably try again with another FC7.

I actually am also getting a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator and was wondering how the Alesis F2 Expression pedal would react? Anyone have any experience with this?
