I have so much I want to do with my time I'd retire immediately if I could. As things stand, I may never be able to retire. If I can keep my current job, though, that will be okay. I love what I do.
I share the feelings...I'm in the same boat. If I didn't need to work, I'd still be doing what I do. No fear of boredom because I am interested in way too much. Luckily much of those interests are not physically demanding.
I have lots of interests that I keep neglecting and postponing due to lack of time. Boredom would never be a problem of mine.
But here in Europe life keeps getting more and more expensive, while practically every government cuts social funding a bit more every year (public health, education and pensions), so I am starting to feel I might never be able to afford retirement, will have to even increase working hours to keep up with the costs of living, and would eventually transition directly from my desk to my grave...
