Reverend Basses

I wasn't going to buy another bass, but couldn't resist a Mercalli 4 in metallic alpine green. It's flawlessly built, light on the shoulder, and sounds massive.

At one time and early on when they first came out I had 6 Rumblefish. They were great basses. I should have never sold the 4 I did. Two were the only made in their colors. They go for lots of money now. I didn't take a beating at all but could have made more. Anyway I still have two. I don't use them but I'm glad I kept them. They are really nice playing and sounding basses.

They have great components.
I’ve had two.
One was an original MIA I should have NEVER let go :vomit:
The other was a decision P , and had to have it plecked , the nut replaced etc..

This was right after Covid let up , so maybe it sat on a boat, or ?

after that it was great.

I let it go as well :help:

I would buy another

I live in NW Ohio, hte local shops i frequent are dealers. I frickin' love them..Except for the neck profile, its a bit too much for me. All things considered, aside from the neck, I could see myself owning 2 0r 3 0f them...
I used to own Mercalli 4 in blonde, light weight and the ergonomics hang proper with a strap....

I would say so, they were backed up in transit. The local dealer was out for 6 months..

I gassed over a decision for a long time. I eventually snagged a mulberry mist decision. The neck just didn't agree with me all. I'm a 1 1/2 nut kind of guy. Wasn't super impressed with the build quality on it either. Had quite a few rattle issues out of the gate, but easily fixed. Overall a pretty cool bass if that wider 12" radius neck is something you like
