I won't comment on whether they are too high because I don't know the business model but I will comment to say Reverends are WAY nicer than Sterlings and cheaper Schecters. I haven't played newer MIM Fenders but even the older ones were nicer than Sterlings. There are some nice ones but most Sterlings I have played are Squier level at best. I assume the higher priced ones are nicer but then they are close to the same price as the Reverends. The Corgan guitar I own is insanely nice. As nice as y USA Music Man guitars.

I agree on pushing back that they’re overpriced. I have literally only held the one I own, but my sentinel is as nice in every possible way is any $2000 instrument I have ever seen. From the neck through design to the light weight tuners and incredibly perfect bridge. I can’t find a flaw.

I'm not familiar with any of the newer models but early on when Joe was starting out, I had five 4 stringers and one 5 string Rumblefish....es. I still have two left though. Two of the colors were the only ones made so I kick myself for getting rid of any of them. Real great quality basses that have a great sound. These were all in the double digit serial numbers.

Final modification on the Fatfish 32....Put the original pickup back in bridge postion but reversed it..Dimarzio DP296 Relentless middle in neck position..Wired them together in series to a 500 k volume direct to the jack...

Can anyone tell me the measurements of there 34" scale reverend bass (any model) .1) The length of the fingerboard from the (fingerboard side of the nut) to the end of the neck .2) The measurement from the nut to the edge of where the bridge is located..thank you.

I still have 2 of my original 6 Rumblefish. I got them early on when Joe was starting up. He shipped them with MOP pickguards as per my request. They are very similar to my jazz basses in profile. Exactly, I'm not sure but that's what they feel like to me. 1.5 at the nut and very comfortable. And not as thick as some jazz basses.

I’m looking for some encouragement from Triad owners. My bass teacher has me second-guessing how awesome I think the tone is. He always asks me to EQ the tone all the way off, including on the amp because he doesn’t think it has any bottom. I hear fantastic clarity and grit. He does have me second-guessing myself, and I’m considering trying flats which I think would actually be really nice on the triad. Has anyone tried flats on a triad.
