Reverend Dub King- dead pickup

The guy who works on my stuff tells me that the neck pickup- what Rev calls a split brick- on my Dub King has a broken winding. Apparently, but not positively, Reverend doesn't sell replacements.
Any thoughts on a replacement? Or should the broken one be repaired?

Have it fixed... I might be a challenge to find a replacement pup that fit's correctly.
If the finish wire is the damaged one, just take a few turns off of it; and re-solder it together.
