Rex Brown's 1988 Charvel

I am quite aware of their glam era. Its just best if those days are forgotten from pantera's career though haha;)


well seeing how this somewhat is a piece of metal history, i could see why theyd want 5k.

I mean, he did use this on Pantera's first 2 albums, as well as tours and whatnot.

Metal history....well, in the history of metal they existed sure.
But as far as being a part in making that history, I dunno, subjective.

I like Pantera. But still, Rex Brown is hardly a big name in the bass world. In metal, IMO, he's in the game, but not a brilliant stand out.

Again, IMO.
 
I have to disagree- I remember when Pantera turned the Metal world on its ears and changed things forever with CFH. They are the only only Heavy Metal band to have an album debut at #1 on the Billboard charts. They definately had their moment and although Rex is not John Paul Jones, he was deep in the mix when this shift happened. Guess you had to be there.....
