The figuring matches up quite nicely. I like the tiny bit of contrast between the FB and the body; it'll keep the FB from getting lost.Here's a shot of them both together - the body wood is on the left, and the fingerboard wood is on the right. There is definitely some color contrast - the body wood is a bit darker.

We got the board from NorthRidge Hardwoods. They worked with us to find the best match based on the pic we sent them. I love having the Sonum, and it's been an indispensable tool for me.Everybody loves a little confirmation. I'll be interested to hear how the Sonum Experior idea works out from both of your points of view; I had a similar concept rolling around in my head some time ago but never brought it to fruition like Michael has.
