Rhythm Training tool/app

I wasn’t to sure where to put this if it’s in the wrong place please move it to the correct forum mods!

I’m a big fan of the yardstick rhythm exercise/tool that Anthony Wellington teaches in the victor Wooten DVD:

Anthony Wellington teaches rhythm using the rhythm yardstick. - YouTube

I know that this can all be done with a metronome but I was thinking it be cool if there was an app for ipad/iphone that did a similar thing so would click on the down beats for 4 bars and then play again on any of the 16 subdivisions that you selected or have it randomly select subdivisions.

I also thought it’d be cool if it had the function to then be shown as notation of the 4 bars so would help with reading rhythm too?

Is there anything in the market like this at the moment, if not do you think it is worth while developing this kind of app?

The app I like is ReadRhythm. It is a different methodology. From what I gathered from this video, an app for it could work, or someone clear on this concept could grab a drum beat app, several of which exist with 1/16 divisions and 4-bar phrases, and do the drill on their own.
