Ric copies?

Hi.

My repaired Herby Custom Bass.

HerbyCustomBass.jpg

This baby was my main bass for about 15 years, before I switched to Epi Thunderbird. (Mainly for the the rock look, I admit :hiding: )

I bought the Herby from an insurance company without the headstock and, since I was in kind of a "hurry" and stupid, didn't check the headstock lenght correctly and so the truss rod cover is too long for that short headstock I made.
All these years I've been planning to do the repair again, perhaps even gluing the headstock straight  this time, but have kinda grown to like it that way. And as it has been that way all along, I believe it stays that way too.

Half of the pick guard was also shot, and I had the brightest idea, :hyper: , why not put blinking leds in there like in one of the lightshow rics that I had seen pictures of. Well, that didn't happen, but the clear matt sanded acrylic stayed. And been also like that ever since.

Regards
Sam
