I don't think I've ever seen him play with a pick before. He doesn't look comfortable

I do think Chris Squire's playing defines the classic Ric tone but what I don't think people consider is how smooth his playing was. The way he attacks the strings and probably his string height has a lot to do with his sound. Even when Geddy played Roundabout with the other guys in Yes at the RNRHOF awards it wasn't quite the same. Geddy and Squire are both great players but they have different techniques.
