Rice crispy bass grounding issue?

Hey Guys, I have this problem with both my basses. (don't laugh) A Rogue LX200, and an Ibanez Gio200.

When I touch a string I get a pop. On the ibanez when I rest my finger on the top pickup screw I get rice crispies....snap crackle, and pops..These can happen at the same time.

I DO have sweaty hands and think that might be a part of the issue....but really?

I played on Sunday, and after some frustration and a cord change it was fixed. I took the cord home and it does it here on my amp. I have a short 6ft monster cable and it does it with that one too. (Pretty much all cords so I'm thinking bass issue)

Is it a ground issue? Is it my hands? :rollno: Andd how would one fix said problem. Thanks guys!
