Rickenbacker 3000

The Rickenbacker 3000 has the same body as the 3001, and the 2020, 2030, 2050, and 2060 basses ...

Not really. Similar, but not the same. The 3000 has a smaller body than the long-scale 3001, and the 2000 series basses differed slightly from the 3001. It's all in the book. However, I don't have overall measurements to help the original poster.

here's a 3000 and a 3001 together.

Would you mind laying them down on construction paper and marking where the top of the highest horn and the button of the body draw straight lines from each, parallel to the width of the paper and measure and do the same at the widest point of the guitar body if you wouldn't mind doing this for both the 3000 and the 3001 I would really appreciate it.

I have been looking at some 3000 parts on eBay and the only thing that I would be missing would be the body they have a neck and neck plate pickup/ w pots and output jack and a pickguard, besides that I would like to make a couple of guitars and since most of the parts would be Ricky parts it's not too much of a stretch to make a body

Besides the only way I can afford i Ricky is piecing it back together like I'm doing with my 360 granted it has a set neck and I will be making a 4000, 4001,4002, 4003, a couple of 480s I'm doing this mostly for the fun of building them and I like things that are different and have a touch of style and class to them ( and I know that was an understatement) for the most part these will be just for me and will be tagged differently so they won't be confused with the real thing
