Got a 4003 jetglo in 2009, For less than 1400.00 from MF using a Memorial day discount. Had one bad saddle which I called the company about and they gave me the option of sending the bass back to be fixed or they could send me some new saddles. I opted for the saddles and they sent me 4. So I guess up to this point I have been blessed with what I had received. I'm not a big fan of not posting prices but it only takes a second to get it.

Anyone else slightly PO'ed that they ordered their 4003s at a higher price from a certain popular authorized RIC mom and pop retailer and are STILL likely to be waiting months for theirs? I guess when I preordered my fireglo 4003s in Feb i didn't anticipate that MF/GC/Wildwood/etc would have them readily in stock at better prices a mere couple months down the road... you live, you learn I suppose.

P.S. sweet 4003s!

I thought it was strange myself. After I ordered mine my mind started playing tricks on me thinking that maybe
some lesser quality basses were sent to the big name retailers to unload while the pristine examples were going to the smaller specialty places like POTR. I was very happy when mine arrived and the only issue was a small black dot under the paint on the bottom side that no one will notice unless you point it out. The intonation was good and the setup was near perfect. I was shocked and very happy! Sorry about your ordeal, I would be PO'ed also.

I ordered mine from Wildwood last Dec. I've only seen 2 Fireglo's 4003s on their site and I'm still waiting for my Jetglo.
