Rickenbacker relic advice

Here's the headstock of my '81 4001S that's had run-ins with ceiling fans, cymbals, other headstocks, etc.

That's been horribly abused! Here's my address. Send it right away so it can have a good home. It deserves a good parent. Don't make me call child protective services!

Modifying a Ric? Ok.... 1 out of 3 turned out well for me. Willfully defacing a Ric or any other instrument to give it that veteran look is like buying medals of bravery and acting like you earned them. It's phony and very lame.
