Rickenbacker Stickers - Who and why?

"Stickers-be-gone" is my policy. Same for the bridge pup cover, along with installing a Triple Bezel. The cover is in the case, but the stickers have gone to Sticker Heaven.

So what do you do with the RIC stickers on your new 4003 Series basses, keep them or remove them and if you keep them on the bass, why?

Show them if you've still got them.

Well, I have been playing Bass for a total of 14 days now with the PMITUSA and PUFVT stickers on the front of my guitar this whole time.

I must say that I have made quite an improvement in my playing over these last 13 days.. and since I CAN'T prove that the stickers WEREN'T a part of this magic, I have carefully moved them to the back of the TRC so as not to create any bad mojo, you can't be too careful ya know?

If I don't continue to see any improvement after this move, back to the front they must go.

My wife thinks I'm crazy, lucky for me I was able to outrun her after telling her she's the crazy one (but only because I can run faster with the new shoes I have on)

My 4003 didn't come with one, but if it had, I would have taken it off. I might have saved it somehow for people who care about them, but I think it ruins the clean look of the bass.

For anyone wringing their hands in anguish about such a life-altering decision: if you take the sticker off and can't live with yourself afterwards, there are rolls of RIC-copy Made In USA replacement stickers dirt cheap on the typcial Chinese bootleg websites.

When I bought my 4003 in 2011, I removed the stickers before I had left the shop....

I removed mine immediately. I don't remember where I put them, or even if I kept them.

Quoting myself from 2015. I now keep the stickers on Rickenbacker basses, because I can.
