just accessories:

I had too many Instrument cables prior to the year-end holidays, & I started looking around for things to sell.
So there goes the 2 Meter 'Live' cable & a Fender Vintage Voltage 4 Meter cable.

Now there's just two that I made myself with Mogami wire & Neutrik connectors.

If you hate your cables, make new ones & sell the old ones during the xMas shopping-rush, LOL!

"cables" for me, too. but unlike https://www.talkbass.com/members/dirtdog.24075/ , i like having some spares + a cable for every occasion!

Same!

When I sold my PA, I sold off a stack of cables for pennies on the dollar. Got a few hundred bucks from that and I STILL have two large Rubbermaid totes filled with cables of all kinds. Lots of spares.

But do you think I could find the USB-C to USB-A cable I had in my hands just the other day? Nope - it went into one of those totes never to be seen again.

I have too many cables - but its really cable management that I hate the most.

....cables.

Oh, man, don't get me started...

I used to own a fully-outfitted recording studio. ~7 years ago I closed down that operation; most of the equipment went into a spare bedroom in my apartment, some went to the rehearsal studio I sublet downtown, and some went into storage. Between my apartment and the rehearsal studio I have enough cables to accomplish any task I can foreseeably undertake in my professional life: Bass playing gigs (including those with multiple pedalboards), remote recording gigs, overdub and/or mix sessions from my spare bedroom scaled-down recording suite, etc. All the other cables from the original studio got coiled up neatly, packed into heavy-duty ziplock bags (organized by type) and then stuffed into an enormous Army surplus duffle bag in the storage space.

I recently had to go to that storage space for something unrelated to audio, but had to move that duffle bag to find what I was looking for.
I kid you not: That bag of cables weighs more than I do.

I own >175lbs of cables that I don't even use!!!

I hear you. I wasn’t at 175lbs, but pushing close to half of that for sure.

I considered using the copper to make a bronze statue of myself.....for myself....lol!

I like the ziploc bag idea. I don’t own many long/large cables anymore but do have a buttload or shorter/smaller ones. I see a snow day project happening soon!

I have a spare parts box of tuning keys, bridges, knobs, etc. It’s not majorly excessive, but i guess i’m just hanging onto them as spares.
I’ve given away bridges I don’t particularly like. (OEM Rickenbacker V1,badass 1, 3-point Gibsons), just because i know I’ll never use them.
I had a newer version Fender coiled cord that was the bane of my existence until i finally gave it to my bandleader/guitarist. She was delighted to get it,and i was delighted to be rid of it. It worked fine, but ALWAYS took minutes to untangle.
Most of the 3-4 guitar cables i use, I’ve had for decades. Same with straps.

Well outboard gear, cables and tons of em...
I owned a recording studio so theres that. Funny as far as picks go when I first started gigging I played alot of post/punk/alt and used med picks I am mostly a finger player but my lovely wife apparently never got the memo and to this day has gifted me medium picks for B-days/Xmas ever since needless to say they are much more manageable than my plethora of outboard gear...
