Right speaker for a Bag End II 1x12?

Today I picked up a nice old Bag End II 1x12 cabinet, unloaded. I see a lot of talk here about how not all speakers are right for all cabs, how would I go about determining which is right for this one?

It measures about 14"wide x 14"Deep x 18" high. One 2" hole/port in the back. I plan to use it alongside a 1x15 or 1x18, to help cover some of the mids. I'd prefer a 4ohm.

Check out the Eminence Basslite S2012. Runs around $75 or so. Here are some box designs from their website:

Scroll down to the "Small Vented Bass Guitar Cabinet". It's based on a cabinet volume of about 1.4 - 1.5 cu ft which is pretty close to your Bag End Cabinet (assuming 3/4" cabinetry which subtracts off 1.5 inches per dimension). You'll need to play with the tuning a bit (port size and / or duct length), but it should be doable. You won't get deep bass but it should be reasonable. Here's link to the spec sheet as well:

It's a neo driver so it'll be fairly light too.

I agree but the new Celestion 12 is really impressive as well and sounds great in the bag end type cabs i built.
Similar to the Eme 2012 - I have both. My 2-12 cab has 2 2012's and has serious balls. I tried the 2012 - And the High End Eminence that Greenboy uses and recently the Celestion 12. I like the Celestion best as a single speaker option in my home-grown Bagend style cab.
