RIM Custom 6 headless for Christophe

Yep for sure might have been an idea to chrome before frets went in, but to be honest its a minor detail. Im sure its gonna look sweet. Controls are drilled now, looks real nice layout wise. Pics later!

Just a quick update, ive had time to try out the bass thru an amp and she sounds real nice, lots of scope with the Noll preamp.

Hi All,

Just a quick update on Christophe's bass, ok so I had the Laser custom engravement done tonight after work by a local firm. They done a great job and i'll be using them in the future on my R logos. Also Ive smoothed out the lines more on the ribs and the rear cavity cover has been Lasered at my work.

Gonna be off to paint soon!

Hi Guys,

Slight adjustment made to the scooped area behind the K' Rism logo, we have taken the area back closer to the neck pickup and smoothed out the lower rib some more. The bass will be going off to SIMS Custom this week for the Chrome spray finish.

Gorgeous, not a fan of chrome though, I'd just leave it like that it is. Maybe stain it. But its your bass, I'm just not a fan of flashyness. thats some amazing woodworking though.. good job man.

Its a shame the bass is gonna be sprayed Chrome, but this is what Christophe wants for his custom bass. Im sure its gonna look great, also the fingerboard will be sprayed metalflake which is as close to chrome as we can go. I was hoping to do the fretboard Chrome but Martin at Sims Custom told me the frets react badly to the finish.
