RIM Custom Marseer 6 Fretted Fishtail for Chris

Hi Guys,

Ive been Busy working on Christophe's Chrome 6 and just also started work on this new Custom Marseer for Chris. The spec for this bass is,

Marseer 6 Fretted Fishtail Bolt-on.
5 piece neck of maple/wenge
Rosewood board 35 scale
Black Limba body core
Black contrast veneer
Mrytle wood top and headstock cap

ETS MKIII Bridge unit 95mm spacing
Custom RIM Tailpiece
Sperzel tuners
Delano SBC6 HE/s Dual coils
Aguilar OBP-3 preamp
Hipshot control knob
JD Straplocks
Protection Racket gigbag

Robbie I thought you would have templates for every part of your basses.

Yeah ive got most of my templates, but as this is the first bolt on 6 ive done its back to the drawing board as ive had to make the body slightly wider to take the wide neck. Enjoy!

just one face Robbie, an eye at each side, the figure comes together narrow with ovalfans of figure above and below, looks like staring directly at a fish or a bird. No smoking or controlled substance use here...LMAO Look at the 1st picture in post#4 lower half of the body. ;-)

Hi Guys,

Well we are back from Cornwall, had a blast and I got a couple of surfs in also! Ok so we have been busy on the bass this week, ive got the pickup routs in and drill for the 6 neck screws. Also drilled for the sperzel tuners.

You're O.K. Musiclogic, probably just a flashback... I heard the frequency of these experiences should diminish with time... If they don't, just learn to enjoy them!
