First time ive seen anybody doing this with a bass..

Hi Guys,

Well we are back from Cornwall, had a blast and I got a couple of surfs in also! Ok so we have been busy on the bass this week, ive got the pickup routs in and drill for the 6 neck screws. Also drilled for the sperzel tuners.

Cheers for the comments guys, to Derhoggz bud the tailpiece is a soild piece of brass which I have made by ETS. On the early Marseers I made them myself, simple design as shown in the picture below

So basicly I rout out the slot for the tailpiece in the butt of the fishtail, then slot the fishtail for the strings. Very simple design that works for my look.
