Ring covers. Silly? Nope

I don’t like taking my wedding ring off but the clanking against the neck always annoyed me. I thought these might be silly but what the heck? $5.00 on Amazon. I should have bought these decades ago.

When I first got married it felt really weird to wear a ring. I was playing a lot of guitar at the time and found that it interfered with that more than it did with bass. I just did my best to ignore it.

Now, 18 years later, I don’t even realize it’s there.

I've got an Oura ring like in the OPs Pic. It's already so thick, I can't imagine putting a cover on it. I wear it on my plucking hand.

My wedding band has been on almost 40 years, and has assimilated into my left ring finger. No problem playing with it on - but yesterday I decided to take it off. Oh man, that was tight. So now I'm looking at a silicone replacement.
