RIP Chris Cornell - Soundgarden/Audioslave

Wow, I'm in shock. My wife and I saw him last July on the Higher Truth tour, and it was one of the best solo concerts I've been to. He left it all out on the stage, and I was looking forward to his next tour, because my 8-year old son wanted see him live (he's a big fan of his). Say hello to heaven, Chris. You'll be missed:(

I can't believe that. Definitely one of the greatest rock vocalists, and singer in general, and a huge influence. Not just musically, but even in my life. My girlfriend and I bonded early on over shared musical taste and Soundgarden was always one of our favorite groups; I got her Superunknown for our first Christmas together.
