Another fretless gem. Written by fellow Detroit fretless bassist, Lamont Johnson (Brainstorm.)
One little tidbit, I corresponded with Michael Henderson through Facebook a number of times. He would talk about everything except what bass he used on a track.
OK - found my absolute #1 piece with Mr. Henderson - #1 doesn't even do it justice, it's beyond hierarchy, beyond numbers - part of the legend for sure...
What kind of amp do you think he was using? I love this sound - maybe not a lot of "sub bass" but such a raw sound! At the very end there is a poem, and then a clip with different sound quality than the rest of the album. I have studied this stuff to the best of my ability over the years, going back almost 30 years - this section just blows me away:

Yes, indeed, a real gem. Because of Randall Jacobs' guitar solos I used to play the track to rock guitarists as an example how to keep one's guitar work tight and clean. Randall Jacobs is credited as the other writer.

I know I am a serious Michael Henderson fan. This is the first time in my life that I have been happy to see an obituary. I am very sad that Henderson has passed, but I am very happy to know the level of recognition he is receiving.
