RIP Randall Wyn Fullmer

I’m so sad. I have been emailing Randall after watching his documentary since March this year and scouring the internet to get a hold of him and one of his bases. I wanted to build a bass with him and perhaps visit the shop to learn more since I’m in to making my own basses and his style most reflects what I want to do. I’m sitting here with my mouth still hanging open. If anyone has a bass they want to sell or want to share info on his basses so I can become a better bass builder in this style please contact me. I live in Hawaii so long distance but I have access to some great tropical wood. I wanted to build a quilted maple solid top 6 string bass and I’m devastated Randall will not grace my bass. Blessings to his family and I hope someone is carrying on in his footsteps.

I feel your pain with this news. I don’t think Randall had anyone else in the shop with him building basses. More sad news!
