Man, this is sad. The guy was so young. Lots of rumors flying around right now, but it'll all get sorted eventually. I know I admired him for his toughness and the way he conducted himself on the field. RIP, Steve.
The latest news suggests his girlfriend shot him and then shot herself. McNair's body has multiple gunshots, his girlfriend only has one. McNair was a married man with three children, and his twenty year old girlfriend had just been arrested for DUI in an Escalade they both owned while McNair was in the passenger's seat.
The whole situation seems very ugly. I sure hate that one of my favorite athletes, and a true pioneer among Black quarterbacks, went out like this. Adultery is some dangerous stuff!
