I've had a few similar encounters that are utterly priceless.~'66? unexpected, and maybe a little off the wall: walking into the dressing room and sharing the spliff that smokey rolled, with smokey, after our set on a crowded-marquee show in PA (allentown? philly?). i was a kid (and his fan) and he was an actual adult (and a hero) --- blew my teenage mind.
