I keep reading how these roadworns sound/feel good/better, etc…

I’m just curious, aside from the wear treatment, what’s actually different/unique/special by way of parts?

we are paying for treatments,but also (and most important to me personally... those reverse big vintage tuning machines and USA standard parts,body wood,pups,etc...)

I will say that those tuners are as stiff as old dried out boots and definitely need lube. I've also got a '63 P and the tuners on that (reverse) are as smooth as anything. This was my only gripe with the RW.
