    Rob Allen basses always look incredible. I'd love to own one someday.

    Yeah, I've read the discussions on terminology, and to me... it is part of the guitar family. But if everyone else wants to pretend that I said electric bass instead, that is fine with me.

    Heck, classify it as a 5-String Fretless Chordophone for all I care!

    That'll do it! ;) Nice looking body (the bass, not yours). My MB-2 4-string should arrive within 3 weeks. I'll post the pic(s) if I can figure out how to do it. So far I've had no luck posting the preliminary photos he sent me via e-mail.

    No. It has two chambers.

    Fretless

    Five string (BEADG)
    35" scale
    short fret lines (1/4")
    Burl Spalted Maple top
    Ebony Fingerboard
    Bird's Eye Maple neck
    Ash body
    22 fret positions
    Piezoelectric bridge pickup
    Volume control
    LaBella 760n tapewounds
    And there's some bias setting for the electronics that you can access through the back that I don't ever plan on messing with. See Rob Allen's site for more info.

    That's all I can think of.
