Rogue Custom Bass MIJ Not MF Brand Question

Has anyone ever heard of this bass before?
Seller says its a mij bass and it looks nothing like the MF brand name bass.
Never seen this name on a headstock before.
Its black on black with a maple neck and this headstock.

I'm picking one up tomorrow - Rogues were Fender copies made in Japan in the late 70's early 80's - lightweight Alder bodies (not plywood) - this particular one has a really awful florescent yellow refin job but plays beautifully. I've owned several early 70's Fender P Basses and this one blows them all away. I don't care what the Pickups sound like - if they stink I'll replace them with Seymour Duncan Vintage P's.

Hey if you're in Canada - it might be the same Bass.

How did it sound? I recall one of the coolest 'sounding' P- Basses I tried - I mean that 'Clank' was a Tokai 'Hard Puncher'....

Never got a chance to play it.
It was on ebay.ca but didnt want to take a chance and i didnt get any responses about it.
