Rogue VB100 Violin/Viola Bass parts ?

Hello, does anyone know if there is a way to get a Pickguard or maybe a place online to get a pattern for a Rogue VB100 Beatle bass Pickguard ? also wondering about Knobs ? Also a while back I saw a photo on talkbass of what I think was a Rogue that had replaced tuners that were Pearl or Pearloid. But I cannot seem to find that photo now. The tuners that guy put on looked really nice. I was wondering if they had better performance also. I noticed the Rogue I have seems like when you are tuning you are almost there and then go right on past your pitch. Especially on the E string.

Just had a look at mine (great little bass for the money). You could just take off the existing one, send it or a tracing to pickguards.com and they'll make you up one in whatever material you want. I think the pearloid looks pretty good.

The tuners on mine work fine. They're no name, but it looks like standard Gotoh or Grover sealed tuners would fit.

I should have mentioned I don't have a pickguard for it, so I can't trace it. The photo of the bass I saw on talkbass had pearloid tuners. maybe like hofner style but seemed larger maybe ? I thought the photo was a Rogue bass, but now I am not sure.

Here's how to fix that tuner problem. Loosen the string and reinstall it after turning the peg a half turn. That will put the gear in a differient place which will take it away from the problem spot. I had a set of grover guitar keys one of which had a bad spot and doing that kept me from having to locate a matching key.
The tuner buttons do come off of Rogue tuners. You may be able to find Pearloid buttons from another brand, but it's a crapshoot. Good Luck!

PM me and I'll send you a couple of photos of what the pickguard and attachment hardware look like. If you need it I'd be happy to trace mine and send it to you.

Also, are the control knobs that come on the Rogue available ? Kind of like a black skirted knob with a flat top and a silver circle in the middle. I think I have seen knobs like this on something. Maybe on Boss pedals
