Roland AP-7 Jet Phaser - a work in progress

So jealous - my burninator is pretty awesome but its not a jet phaser. itll get me in a ball park a few blocks from the jet phaser but i'd love to ramp the speed up and down and get super chewy on it.

Ry, youre my hero.

This pedal really is amazing. If I had the time to trace it, source the parts, etc I would clone it. Chicago Mike is mad busy.

Taylor or someone should get into a clone!

The schematic is already available, no need to trace it. It's basically

DS-1 type distortion->Big Muff tone control, switched->8 stage JFET phaser (like an 8-stage Phase 90).

No exotic parts - the only special thing is getting a matched set of 8 JFETs, but if you build a matching fixture (see Geofex) and buy a few hundred of them you should be able to find some matched sets. I made a 12-stage JFET phaser some years ago and found a matched dodectet without much trouble.
