Roland CUBE 30watt for vocals?

Howdy,
My band is in need of a vocal amp of some sort. We have been told about PA's but they are very expensive so Im just curious if this amp would be suitable for singing. Any bass amp for that matter.

I heard that the CUBE 30 is very very loud and can compete with a 100watt guitar amp. The sales lady who told me this said that vocals should be no problem.

The amp has to compete with two 65 watt guitar amps and myself, can it?

I don't see too many bands with two guitarists with 30 watt PAs.

I picked one up for rehearsals and small upright gigs. It is an amazing little amp, and the available volume is quite a surprise... I'd say it's equivalent in output to a typical 100 watt solid state bass amp... just a guess. But remember, it's only a single 10" speaker, even if a 2-way and a very good one. There is definitely some electronic magic in their FFP system and their matched components. Highly recommended for what I'm using it for and bhy far the best value I could find in its class.

Still, it's no PA system. It has a 1/4" input only and just 1 speaker. I'm not sure whether or not you'd have impedance matching problems... I believe it's a 1 meg-ohm input stage. I imagine you could overcome all these things and be fine on a tiny stage, but I'd only consider it if you had other uses for the Cube 30.
