Seriously I have found these guitars to have a tone and feel unlike any other bass, with a huge pallet of sounds - all very useable.
I dealt with Gard at Roscoe and found them to be very helpful and informative.
I you are thinking of buying a high end bass, you could save some serious money and buy a Roscoe - they really do out perform alot of "Boutique" basses that are fabulous but offer nothing better than the Roscoe in the tone/build quality department ( in my opinion ).
I do believe that there is no "one" great bass for all - it is down to individual taste - it is important to try all options even in a music shop. However being a gigging musician I can honestly say that these basses work really well doing a great job of sitting in the mix cleanly.
