I have searched the archives, but my computer is slow and killing my patience!
I thought that I read somewhere, that someone has installed a 5 way p/up selector switch on a RBV, allowing the user to reduce both pickups output (front by 25% or rear by 25%) and eliminating the "pull up" function on the tone pot. I suppose a "pan" pot would be a better idea...I just like the idea of a quick tonal selection.

I did that while installing OPB-3 in my RBV since I had no room for anything else.

It is really tight fit though, and it has to be the Fender Super 5 way switch for it to
work; I modified mine to reduce the foot print since installing the OBP-3 is really thight....

I never use the new position (both pu's with bridge reduced), just as I never solo the neck pu,
but it was the only way to retain the original options...
