Well I finally put my new set of TI Flats on one of my Roscoe’s. I put them on this LG 3005 because it had the deadest strings. This particular bass has a Wenge stripe in the neck and a Wenge board. It also has a push pull active/passive volume pot and a mid frequency toggle. Im very fond of this bass and it sounds and plays great with the TI’s. Wish I had put them on sooner.

Well, Keith said one more coat of clear and then he can start to reassemble. Not sure I’ll have it for my December 3rd and 8th gigs though.

They sound wonderful in a mix too.
I had a set on the Spector Scott and they felt and sounded great on that bass too. Such nice midrange growl!
I’m not sure I want flats on both my basses at a gig. I did try TI Rounds a couple weeks ago on a friends bass and they were pretty sweet. I seem to always come back to the “stock” strings on my Century 5 though. Just part of the sound to me I guess. D’Addario strings. Bart electronics.
Once it's back in your hands you'll forget all about the wait. With the poly finish it can look like a new bass for many years. So worth the wait! Am excited to see it too, Steve
Im sure the TI’s would be great on the Spector but i really love these Fodera’s you put on it.
Oh yeah.
If my basses wear nickel rounds (these days) they definitely get the Fodera strings. Great strings!
I woke up this morning and found this in my bed! What do you think it means?
Gig report… played my above LG5 with the TI’s on my country gig last night. The combination of the tones of the bass added to the TI’s gave me a very thick and articulate bottom that just spoke with authority. Wish i hadn’t waited so long to try this combo out.
