I took some instruments to appraised for insurance purposes (for what it's worth my insurance company told me that for policy purposes they're happy to have my assessment of market worth, but if I ever make a claim they'll want independent appraisals or purchase receipts). Nathan at Black Book Guitars in Portland did a nice job writing up appraisals (right in the same ball park as my own estimates), and he also took some nice pics of the instruments. I figured I'd share some pics of my SKB, as they really do a nice job of showcasing the artistry of a beautiful instrument!

So Bernard, is Keith actually finishing (as in completing) your bass in a week or so or is he applying the finish on your bass in a week or so?

Remind us of the specs Bernard. I remember thinking it was going to be really nice but I don’t remember the details.

Question: What have most of you players used successfully to dim the bright LED lights on your pedals?
I just doubled the voltage on a couple of pedals and the LED lights are now way too bright.

Oh! Cool. I mean how long could it take to apply a finish and put it together? Definitely a week or so ...... right @SteveC?

It's only usually estimated to approximately take maybe 2-weeks or sometimes longer depending on how much work is in the shop and which tasks pays the bigger bucks, probably. 
Yeah, my $300 refinish isn’t a high priority I’m sure. I’m guessing he thought he’d squeeze it between new projects. I get it. So what do you do when you get a gas attack and your new new bass isn’t completed yet and you pretty much are satisfied with your other bass gear???
If you’re me…. You buy a Fender Clapton Strat and a Princeton Reverb RI and volunteer to play in the worship team at church. lol. If my bass takes too much longer I might need a Tele.

Here just to make sure I’m adding relevant content here too.
I put a set of TI flats on my Century 5 and played it in church this morning. I was using my Mesa WD-800 head and one Aguilar GS112. The tone was lovely.
Armybass' posts reminded me that he has TI flats on his LG 5. Scott and I have been pals for many years now and have bought, sold and traded basses too many times to remember.
