Yep! I just put a new/different Nordy preamp in one of my LG’s just to give it a better look (now matching knobs) and to stimulate renewed fondness in what is an outstanding bass.

New strings usually does it for me. The bridge and perfect intonation also helps.
Right, but I’ve read in this thread all about the need to change out the stock tier/step bridge to get lower action and/or better intonation.
This is an older LG with the Wedge neck and stock bridge that I sent to Keith (before 2-weeks out was a thing) to Plek and do a setup and get the action as low as he could without fret buzz, and he did just that. If the action was any lower I couldn’t play it.
There must be some secret techniques Keith uses to get his basses to setup just right the way that they are.
My Century 5 (I think, I haven't seen it for months
) has a non tier HipShot "B" bridge and was Plek'd and plays itself. The action is perfect. My Classic P was also Plek'd and is amazing. The LG was older and had a tiered bridge. The new HipShot isn't. Got the action close enough and the intonation is great now. I'd love to get it Plek'd but shipping is so expensive and with as busy as they are, who knows when I'd se it again.

Hi Roscoe owners. Im warming up to Roscoe basses and been looking at them more. I have a question:
What's the neck profile like on these? Any other basses it compares to? Looking mainly at the 5 string options.

I called him today about my Century 6, and he said it's done and set to be "shipped early next week along with a bunch of other stuff". Maybe yours will be in the mix.

The closest neck that it compares to IMO is a MTD. Roscoe Necks are the most comfortable 5 & 6 string necks that I’ve owned. Of course I really like the 18mm string spacing.
I’ve had a few 19mm Roscoes (have one now) and while they still feel great the slight wider neck doesn’t feel quite as good as the standard Roscoe neck. But if you prefer 19mm spacing I’m sure that you’d love it.
I’d say if you accidentally put on your g-string backwards, it will, in fact, affect your ball alignment.Not having you balls properly aligned usually just affects your G string!

Contact Twin Town guitars in Minneapolis, they have a PLEK there. I had two Roscoes there, and they both turned out fantastic!
Thanks so much. How are the necks font to back? I liked the feel of the mtd neck and how thin it is. I can't seem to find any to try near me even though I'm close to los Angeles.
