I like the look of this LG.
Japanese eBay listings of one instrument across several sellers seems to be pretty common. Consider that each is possibly a broker, and will "sell" you the instrument if it's still available for them to do so (they buy from another seller to sell to you once you "buy"). Scam? Look at seller's number of sales, seller feedback, return policies, and then roll the dice (pretty much the same as any eBay transaction) !

What do you guys think about multiple listings on eBay? Do you think that there is a legit sale on a bass like this, or is it 100% scam? There are 3 to 4 listings for this bass, all different stores.

My gut would say scam, but I’ve never bought from overseas. Also over priced. The inlays on the fretboard are pretty cool though. I don’t think I’ve seen that before.

Has anyone ever had any good (or bad) reports with a Nordstrand preamp and pickup pairing in a Roscoe, I plan to swap the DCBs in my LG 3006 for a pair of Zenblades. The dcbs are good but I feel a full Nordstrand package would be better It's already rocking a Nordstrand 3b-4a pre. Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know about the Zenblades, but our fearless (foolish?) leader Joe is a big fan of the Nordstrand pre in a Roscoe...

I have the Nordstrand preamp with Aguilar HC jazz pickups in my Century 5 and I love it. Uncolored and usable throughout the range and the passive tone control is very nice

Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups pair nicely with Nordstrand's 3-band 4-knob (3b4b) preamp with passive tone control in my Roscoe Century 6. The pairing sounds like a Roscoe with very nice tonal balance, and nothing overpowering. The 3b4b is an adjustable gain preamp (like Bartolini). For me, adjustable gain is a must, definitely my favorite preamp type, and all I use.

He's also partial to the Mike Pope preamp he recently installed in a Roscoe. It's another adjustable gain preamp worth considering. .

The Zen Blades are even from string to string and have great clarity, with a slight roll-off in the top end. My buddy Jake Wolf says that they love an onboard EQ...that it makes them extremely versatile pickups. They are completely different from the super mid-forward-sounding DCB pickups.

My favorite pickups currently.. they remind me of Lane Poor Sidewinder soapbars, and theres little higher praise than that. :-)

They do love some EQ boost and they sound great in 2 of my basses currently. Clean, warm, punchy, super dynamic.

There he is! :)
I just recorded another round of pickup video demos for fatbasstone.com, and I finally got to try the Zen Blades. I really loved them. Without real world experience I actually slightly prefer the BigBlade in a passive situation, but the Zen Blades can get there with some EQ, and they’re hum canceling.

That's my problem with the dcbs as well, too much mids. I wanted something more even with a nod towards a tamed jazz bass sound, considering my bass is a forward-slanted LG, it rules out most pickups with pole pieces( ie, Nordstrand DCs due to misalignment with strings). which means for best results I have to look at ceramic or bladed pickups. Any other recommendations on pickups would be much appreciated.
