Roscoe Club

Glad to see that it arrived safe and sound Jon! Crazy to think that it was here in GA. yesterday afternoon!

Look how perfectly in-line those string ball ends are! :hyper::jawdrop::hyper:

That should be an option for a Roscoe! That's worth at least $100! :D

Glad you were so anal about your bass! It's in perfect condition!

Between this bass and my will Lee I think I'm good for awhile!

Got a new one from Bass NW just before they closed up. He had more for cheap and the shipping was more than the case IIRC. Don't know if there's any way to contact them any more.

Thanks for the info.
I wouldn't have a clue on how to contact them either. Hopefully one will turn up. I don't use hard cases anymore (when I gig out) but it sure is nice to have a hard case to store the basses in when the grand kids come over!:help:

@JOME77 Not sure if the case for the SKB and Century are different but I have one (from a Century) that could be made available. Also possibly not worth the shipping cost, but I could look into it.

FWIW the Century case will hold the SKB perfectly. As a matter of fact, we no longer even order or stock the SKB-specific case, because the Century is perfect for them.

This just arrived tonight ......

-Mahogany body
-figured Bosse top
-Purpleheart finger board
-Bart/Bart
-Diamondwood nut

Nice phat tone. Got to love that Mahogany body!

Beautiful!! Is the mahogany noticeably heavier?

I haven't put it on a scale but based on how it feels I'd say that it's some where in the 9+ lbs range. I've owned several Roscoe's with mahogany bodies and their weights actually varied quiet a bit. I guess that it's true that every piece of wood is unique. It sure has a nice phat tone though. Nice tight lows but still lots of snap. Maybe products of the purpleheart finger board and Bosse top (looks a lot like maple and to my ears sounds like it).
