I have an obsession for wood. The musical kind.
Was that the one on Ebay for some time? I love that I finally got a hog bodied Roscoe myself! All of my gear came in today, too...chrome/black bridge, chrome/black tuners, and a GK Neo 112-II cab!

I had the opportunity to pick up Kim Stone's Green LG3005 Fretless... and I did. It came with a fretted neck as well which strangely enough has a brown headstock and not green like the body and fretless headstock. Maybe Gard can shed some light as to why the fretted headstock is a different color. Also, the fingerboard on the fretless appears to be real wood but not 100% sure. I am still in San Diego so pictures will come by the weekend.

As opposed to Diamond Wood, which is what I consider fake wood.
We are having a wonderful time, we get back Wednesday night around midnight so today is our last full day of fun.

May not be real wood, but I think it give the Roscoe fretless a heck of a tone and feel.

We had some snow at a White Lake shopping center (snow maker) the other night so the rain fits right in. I found a new Espresso I like, Hummingbird at Zumbar in Sorrento, I bought a 2lb bag to bring back to NC. I could definitely get used to living out here.

I am not knocking Diamond wood at all, I just haven't seen a lot of Roscoe fretless basses with other fingerboards. This bass has some mojo.

Interesting that he went with the MM5.4 on there and not a Bigman. The latter is a bit more versatile IMO, and my guess is that it provides more natural blending options with the Big Single neck pickup. In any case it'll be a killer bass and really cool from a visual perspective!

Blemishes aside, it looks like a great deal. It looks to be a Signature but without a wedge neck. You could always send it to Roscoe for some TLC.

I was thinking of all new hardware and a new set of Roscoe pickups. That should be around $450 in all.

That's the bridge ground for the electronics. I saw the same thing when I swapped the stock aluminum bridge for a brass one.

Very cool, never seen that before. Yeah, and I thought the stock bridge was aluminum...new brass one is significantly heavier!
