That’s a great shot, Steve! I don’t know what you wanted to crop out, but had that gig been in Mid to lower Georgia you wouldn’t have been able to get a clear photo from the reflections off of winged critters!

It is funny how things go, I am back to Jazz and P basses.
So, I am down to a awesome playing SX Jazz bass with flats, I Fender Elite V jazz and a MIM P bass.
I’m with you. I like the look of the classic series, but I’m afraid the neck won’t be like my Century and I love that neck. I’ve debated having Keith make me a Century Standard 5 with a P in the “sweet spot” and a passive volume and tone control with the usual side input jack. Best of both worlds. 5 string passive P that feels like my Century 5.I certainly like the looks of the Roscoe Classic series basses, but I feel like I have the best of both worlds with the Century 5JJ: the great looking, feeling, and playing form-factor of a modern Roscoe, with the classic tones and voicing of 60s-spaced jazz pickups.
The few times I have had this feeling I can play anything and any sound in my head I've had the classic in my hands ... coincidence ???

Sorry I couldn’t figure out how to crop it, but I thought it was a nice shot of the Roscoe.
That happened to me once with a Kazoo!![]()

O.K. Joe, remember when we talked about sometimes you should use your inside voice.....

See what happens when you spend
too much time playing XYZ basses.
Better get Roscoe!!
That's like the pot calling the kettle black!![]()
Thanks for cleaning it up.
Is that Joe Sample on keys? And of course, Steve Gadd on drums
