Roscoe Club

I'm a 5 string guy. But I could go back for that beauty! WoW! I love it!

What's going viral? I missed that message. Please pass it to me.
Not sure I could go back. I just love my 5's so much. I'm as "fast" on these necks as I am on a 4 - maybe faster. The B string is a great thumb rest - seriously - if you aren't using it or don't need it for that gig or set or whatever. I'd rather have and not use than need and not have. And I'm so used to it now....

Sorry, didn't mean to get into a 4 v 5 thing. It's a fantastic bass if that's your thing.

I still like this "Pino" Roscoe P bass. If I had a couple grand lying around I'd be tempted.

Yeah. I'm surprised it's still around really. I just don't have a NEED for it. And with the basement of my house a mess from water and a new to me Audi in the driveway...new bass I don't need is not high on the list.
I'm close to retiring. So I'm holding close to money. I have too many basses anyway.

Oh I like that a lot. Let’s talk about that one. Is that a century body? Looks like long upper horn. Why kind of wood did you go with?

That is a Century Standard Plus 5, with a cocobolo top, ash body, and maple neck. The electronics are a Delano P (have to check on model number, as they have several; Frankie at BBG recommended it to me), Aguilar J, and Bartolini 3-band preamp. I don't like the Aguilar P pickup at all (not traditional enough to my ear), and love a Roscoe with Bart pre more than the Aguilar. Century upper horn makes the century super comfy for me.

I'm a huge fan of Roscoe ash bodies with the Bart electronics.
