It's no Roscoe, but it's a good little bass for when I want/need a passive 4 string jazz bass.
What you mean "It's no Roscoe"?
It's right there on the head stock! "Roscoe"! It doesn't get any clearer than that.
Keith knocked it out of the park on this Roscoe. Every detail just fits together and the expanded electronics really adds to a already impressive sound. View attachment 3657504 View attachment 3657505 View attachment 3657506 View attachment 3657507 View attachment 3657508 View attachment 3657509
I think he meant his G&L jazz bass.
So, the office called and said there was what looked like a guitar box for me by my mail box. This was curious as I hadn’t ordered anything. I went up and found it. From Greg at Rocket Music. Turns out to be a late Christmas gift from my wife.

Some wives stepped it up this Christmas!!!! Must have been that full moon!!

I just don't know what I did wrong.
I even bought my wife a new car this weekend.
...... Of course now that I think about it I can't afford another bass now!![]()
Well Joe, your buying her a car was after this Christmas ( thanks Donny Hathaway!)! Maybe there is a new bass coming your way from her next Christmas, if you remain a good husband the rest of the year!!
There is still that King Koa that RocketMusic wants to sell. You can begin planting your seeds for that one, if it hasn’t already been snatched up!!

Sure is.In reality I'm probably set on basses and gear but it sure is fun to imagine!![]()
Really good. I played it for about 30 minutes yesterday. Nice and light. The neck doesn't feel/play like a 1.75" nut. It's fairly thin front to back as well. I'm going to put flats on and tweak the intonation a tad this evening.@SteveC
So how does that Roscoe 4P sound and play?
