That would be crazy good if you could snag that one back! Not that you don't have one now but what a collection that would be! And you could keep that pic of you and Keith in the case for show and tell at gigs (when fellow bass players come up to admire your bass(es).

I’ve had some wonderful Roscoe 6’s that always slipped through my fingers and this one almost did as well. But as I think I’m getting to the “end of the line” electric collection. But I seriously need to have my son take some decent pics of the Myrtle SKB.

Yeah. I had those on my first boutique bass (an Alembic Point).
I loved that look back in the day. I think over the years I got use to only having the inlay at the 12th fret and now oval and block inlays just look to busy.
Less is more these days (to me anyway).

I went to this listing on my desktop and that is just a killer looking bass on the big screen!
I'm sure glad that it's not for sale locally (or I might weaken and buy or trade for it). I actually love the look of the oval finger board inlays. Very classy.
I can certainly vouch for how good that wedge wenge neck sounds. Very much worth the admission price!

Not totally convinced that it has a Bart 3-band though. I suppose Keith might have installed a Bart 3-band with a swtich (in lieu of his normal P/P pot for mids) but it is a bit usual for him to do it (although he certainly would have at a customers request).

I think my 3006 fretless is a Signature, but I'm not sure; how would I know?
I know it dates from a time when the nomenclature (Standard / Standard-Plus / Signature / Custom) was shifting around a bit...

This is a very old bass he said he had recently bought back from the owner. It needs a spa treatment and some attention. What’s also unique is this is a neck through. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that before but it was cool to get to see it in person.
