I think my woman is one who wouldn't want the family back together. It is an amazing bass. The top is almost as thick as a custom or signature. The wenge board has great grain and sound. For my 1st build, I think I did OK and Keith of course picked beautiful woods.
The last "carrot" to get me to pull the trigger was having it ready for the GTG I was going to attend - in 6 weeks! I remember I flew in on Thursday afternoon, made it to the shop and played it that evening. It was amazing. I have a picture somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Big smile on my face. I used it Saturday day for a lesson with Jimmy Haslip. That was also very cool.
Lots of memories in that bass.
