Your going on 2nd hand information from someone else and I’m going on direct communication showing you from the man hisself lol. These are the exact pickups that in my Surine bass I just got and sounds phenomenal. If this makes my Roscoe sound as good as that bass then it’s a big win for men’s
Most Roscoe STD’s have the 2 wire Bart CB’s. There are some out there though that got the 4 wire Bart CB’s probably because the Bart CB 2 wire versions weren’t available so Bart sent their 4 wire versions. You’ll also find a few Roscoe STD’s with Gotoh tuners instead of Hipshot (because they were unable to get the Hipshot for a while).

Who reads the fine print?
I have two Basses at Keith’s shop and they are both waiting on Bartolini pickups. He did have a box from Bartolini that had just arrived but he said he’s been waiting on and expecting more. I wonder what the holdup is in the supply chain.
I sell in the business to business environment and there are all kinds of supply chain disruptions.
Raw materials like steel, copper and petroleum derivatives are in short supply and have soared in cost in the past 18 months.
Anything with components or assemblies made in Asia are disrupted.
Shipping costs are through the roof and there is disruption there because of employee shortages and that is stretching delivery times so much that UPS & FEDEX no longer guarantee their overnight shipping.
And we’ve all heard about the microchip shortages.
Strange times…Strange times.
Had a contractor over yesterday to talk about remodeling our kitchen and he said he’d just been told that ther’s now a glass shortage so he expects windows will take longer to get.
I don’t know what the holdup is but this was the only set I found in the US on the web.
I went to get Pizza and wings the other day and the guy at the Pizza place told me they were out of wings (and were having trouble getting them)!

Chicken flavored tofu chicken wings! And you can get them with plastic bone inserts for that realistic touch and feel.
Yeah I heard another sports restaurant owner talk about how they can’t afford to do wing nights as the cost has went way up on chicken wings. Everything is more expensive now.

Yep. Zaxby's had to quit selling wings for a while. Zaxby's!
Brisket, a favorite of mine is also very hard to find, and usually a $3 dollar up-charge over say pulled pork for a sandwich. It stinks but service industry and like workers are not treated well. Tipping should not be something one has to count on for wages. The pandemic should serve/is serving as a wake up call on what we value and what people are worth. I don't want to have to warn/ban myself so I'll stop there.
The Classic P w/TI flats was very impressive last weekend. I used it for the first 2 sets. There is something about that tone, and it was really fun to play and maybe looked more the part than my Century 5. I used that for the 3rd set. It was killer as well, just in a different way. Maybe works better for our "80's" and more "extended bass range" set of tunes. I would never have thought 'd be a "P" guy, and wasn't until Roscoe came out with one.
