Roscoe "New, Old Stock" Price Reductions

Damn! Now that is utterly killer, so much tone, love that growly slide just at the end! :hyper:
Always loved that song too, I should point out that Irish bluesman Rory Gallagher done a version too.

Greg, Ain't this bass supposed to play an Irish Dirge or somethin'?:hiding:

Or, Celtic rock, everything is awesome if you add some good Celtic rock. :smug:

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I'm really digging this clip. We used to play this song in the Woodshed, but I could never get everyone on board with playing it "properly". Dynamics and that descending riff are the keys to the song (in terms of making it something other than just a 12-bar blues). I could never get the band to do anything other than everyone playing unison on that riff. Which is OK I guess, but it sucks a lot of the cool factor out of it.

My problem was I probably didn't know enough to even begin describing what I wanted to hear... now it would be a breeze. :)

As promised, here are some fresh pics of this incredible bass. NOW it can go back in the case and box. It's just waiting for a home!

These are much more lifelike than the previous shot that looked like this:

There is definitely plenty of red on the fingerboard in person, but the top is a regular maple color (tan-ish brown). Oh yeah, and the figure don't suck! :D:D:D

Maybe the new pics actually did do the trick? This one has been sold and will be headed to Indiana tomorrow. Go Hoosiers! :)

I've been remiss in keeping this thread up to date! Some of these basses continue to linger longer than I'd like, so much so that we have a new category... the three year olds!! Yikes.

I'll have to confirm with Gard, but I assume all bets are off on the 3 year olds. I have to show the 1 year old price, but I can sell it for whatever I like. So make me an offer!!!

Here is the lone 3 year old!

Next up are the 2 years olds. On these I also have to show the 1-year price (5% below the normal price), but I'm allowed to come off further. I just can't say publically how much further, so contact me if you'd like to know.

Believe me, I've been seriously thinking about that SKB for a long time now.

I just have to hold off on any major purchases, as I have a possibly majorly HUGE purchase that I might be making (might be buying the truck and trailer I've been driving for the past four years and venturing into "owner/operator" territory). That, coupled with some pretty big PA and lighting upgrades that I've recently made, kinda have me in a holding pattern right now when it comes to a new bass.........
